2. Hosting and infrastructure
The website and related application infrastructure are hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States / global edge network). Technical logs and operational data may be processed by Vercel as a sub-processor for hosting and security purposes, in accordance with Vercel’s documentation and applicable data protection terms.
3. Categories of data processed
We may process:
- Account and transaction data (e.g. email address, payment confirmations processed by Stripe).
- Form and application inputs that you submit to generate document packages (e.g. nationality, destination, visa type, narrative descriptions).
- Technical and usage data (e.g. IP address, device and browser metadata, timestamps) for security, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
- Communications you send to us (e.g. support emails).
4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as: performance of a contract (providing the service you request), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement, analytics in a privacy-preserving manner), and consent where required (e.g. certain cookies/marketing, if used and presented separately).
5. AI processing
To generate outputs, your submitted information may be transmitted to AI model providers (e.g. OpenAI) strictly for the purpose of generating the requested materials. We do not use your data to train public models where the provider contractually prohibits such use for API services; please review the provider’s terms for details.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. Technical logs may be retained for shorter periods depending on operational needs.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in the EU/EEA and/or other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) in line with GDPR Chapter V.

VisaDoc provides AI-generated materials for informational purposes only. This is not legal or immigration advice. You remain responsible for verifying information and consulting qualified professionals where appropriate.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction (Spain)
This Privacy Policy is governed by Spanish law, including the applicable provisions of the LSSI (Law 34/2002, of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. Jurisdiction: the courts of Spain have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer under EU law.
12. EU VAT notice
Where applicable, VAT may be charged or accounted for in accordance with EU VAT rules for electronically supplied services, depending on your location and the nature of the transaction. Taxes shown at checkout (if any) are determined by the payment processor based on the information provided.
13. Withdrawal (immediate delivery)
Where you purchase digital services with immediate delivery, applicable consumer law (including EU Directive 2011/83/EU) may provide for a 14-day withdrawal right in certain circumstances. By requesting immediate delivery of the document package, you expressly acknowledge that performance begins without undue delay and that, to the extent permitted by law, you may waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.
